EIGHT STRANDS OF THE BROCADE: In Chinese, Pa Chin Hsin. One of the earliest texts on Chinese medicine, based on principles thought to be introduced to CHINA by the Sons of Reflected Light. The "Pa Chin Hsin" is the first book to describe the working of the CHI, the vital life force that flows through the body, and to locate the CHI's origin in the lower abdomen.
